March 16, 2015 - On April 11, the SRJC Football team will host their 2015 fundraiser in the form of a luau party at Shone Farm. This year’s event will include traditional Hawaiian cuisine, entertainment and desserts. Proceeds will benefit the SRJC Football team. Tickets are $50 per person and will feature dinner, wine, entertainment, as well as live and silent auctions. Tickets can be purchased by contacting SRJC’s head football coach, Lenny Wagner, at (707) 527-4393.
March 10, 2015 — On April 18 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., SRJC Shone Farm will host Hoofbeats in the Vineyard, an afternoon filled with horses, wine, and shopping. The afternoon will include horse performances, educational speakers, live demonstrations, a silent auction, Shone Farm wine and olive oil tasting, and horse related vendors. This is a benefit event to support the horses, students and programs of Equi-Ed Therapeutic Equestrian Program in Santa Rosa, and the Shone Farm Equestrian program of SRJC.

March 5, 2015—Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) President/Superintendent Dr. Frank Chong and Rotary 5130 District Governor Kevin Eisenberg hosted representatives from the 19 participating local Rotary Clubs, two Rotaract Clubs and individual donors at the dedication of the Rotary Center for Student Leadership in the Lawrence A. Bertolini Student Center on March 4.
Mar. 4, 2015—Laura Larqué, History instructor in the social sciences department, has been selected to receive the 2015 National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award for Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC).
Feb. 19, 2015—The SRJC Foster & Kinship Care Education Program presents a free film screening of Dr. Ira Chasnoff’s documentary film, "Moment to Moment: Teens Growing Up With FASDs” (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders), on February 27 in Newman Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. with a follow-up discussion. On February 28, FKCE will host their fourth annual foster and kinship education conference with the reoccurring theme of “Matters of the Heart” featuring guest speaker Dr. Chasnoff.
