September 6, 2017 - La Oficina de Ayuda Financiera de Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) ha recibido quejas de estudiantes acerca de estafas telefónicas. En esta estafa las personas que llaman dicen que son de nuestra Oficina de Ayuda financiera y le piden a los estudiantes información personal como su número de seguro social, su fecha de nacimiento y les preguntan cómo quieren recibir sus becas Pell; por Western Union, en sus tarjetas de crédito o débito, etc.

ALERT: TELEPHONE SCAM TARGETS FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS. What to do if they call you.

September 1, 2017 - The SRJC Financial Aid Office has received several complaints from students regarding a telephone scam. Callers imply that they are from our Financial Aid office. They ask personal information such as social security numbers, date of birth, and how students would like to receive their Pell grant disbursements such as by Western Union, credit or debit card, etc. 

Never provide your personal information (address, date of birth, banking information, ID numbers) to anyone you don’t know. SRJC will never ask for this information over the phone.

Game Programming Degree Offered Again at Santa Rosa Junior College

August 24, 2017 - This fall 2017 semester, Santa Rosa Junior College’s Computer Studies Department will begin offering Game Development and Game Design courses. Local high school students, current SRJC students and other interested candidates will have the opportunity to work toward a full Associate’s Degree in Digital Media: Game Programming.
