April 17, 2017 — Do you want your children to think college will be rewarding, fun, and in their future? There’s a good chance they will, when they attend the 2017 Larry Bertolini Day Under the Oaks on Sunday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at SRJC.
April 10, 2017— SRJC recently announced a new schedule planning tool called the Schedule Planner. The online tool will allow students to create and compare multiple class schedules, based on course preferences as well as other commitments.
April 5, 2017 — The 2017 Career Expo will be held on Wednesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Lawrence A. Bertolini Student Center. Students, alumni, high school seniors, local job-seekers are encouraged to attend.
April 3, 2017 — SRJC Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department is hosting the second annual "Celebrate CTE," to honor students who complete their career certificates during the 2016-2017 academic year.
March 29, 2017 — American-Indian activist, attorney, politician, and member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe will talk about the Water Protectors Resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) and his involvement over the past several months, and more.
March 28, 2017 — The World Languages Department will host a World Languages Fair. The event will include presentations in different languages, music, dances, children’s games, and an “International Café” area providing free food.
March 24, 2017 — It may be impossible to score "Hamilton" tickets in New York, but you can see Lin-Manuel Miranda’s first blockbuster hit musical, “In the Heights”, here in Santa Rosa! Performances will run from April 21 to May 7, 2017 (recommended for ages ten and older).
March 24, 2017 — We the Future Social Justice Conference will be held on April 28, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at SRJC Petaluma. The free conference aims to raise consciousness and inspire action, reflected in its inaugural theme, “Get Woke Stay Woke.”
March 20, 2017 — SRJC Music presents a jazz concert by the Bennett Friedman Quartet on Friday, April 14, at 8 p.m in Newman Auditorium. The concert will feature organist Brian Ho, guitarist Randy Vincent, and drummer Lorca Hart. General admission to the event is $10, and $5 for students and seniors.
March 20, 2017 — SRJC announced the appointment of Pedro Avila as the new Vice President of Student Services and Assistant Superintendent (VPSS) for the Sonoma County Junior College District. He replaces former VPSS Ricardo Navarrette.
