March 17, 2017 — Sonoma County students have submitted various short films for the ninth annual Sonoma County Student Film Festival. Winning films will be shown on Friday April 7, 2017 at the Carole L. Ellis Auditorium.

The college community extends our condolences to the family and friends of former SRJC registrar Louise Hallberg of Graton, California who passed away at the age of 100.
March 10, 2017 — Nearly 40 short films from countries across the world will be screened at the ninth annual Film Fest Petaluma on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the historic Mystic Theatre in downtown Petaluma. Four different collections of shorts will screen at 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 10:30 p.m.

February 15, 2017 — SRJC Theatre Arts Department presents Carlo Goldoni's “The Servant of Two Masters.” Performances run from March 10-19 in Burbank Auditorium, under the direction of Reed Martin. The comedy is recommended for ages twelve and above and will be based on the translation and adaptation of Jeffrey Hatcher and Paolo Emilio Landi.
February 10, 2017 — SRJC will present a series of insightful discussions and inspirational speakers for Black History Month, including genocide survivor and renowned humanitarian Deogratias “Deo” Niyizonkiza. The event series will run from February 13th through February 23rd.
February 8, 2017 — As part of its Black History Month 2017 activities, SRJC will host a free panel discussion entitled “African Americans in Higher Education: Personal Stories of Reflection, Connection and Projection.”
February 6, 2017 — SRJC will host a town hall on Wednesday, February 8th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Lawrence A. Bertolini Student Center. The town hall will be live-streamed to the Carole L. Ellis Auditorium on the SRJC Petaluma campus and YouTube.
