Nov. 1: SRJC to Host First Adjunct Faculty Recruitment Open House to Meet Student Demand for Classes
October 12, 2016 - The free open house takes place on November 1, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the Bertolini Student Center. Meet SRJC’s Superintendent/President, and enjoy a panel discussion, Q&A session, and reception with refreshments.
October 7, 2016 - SRJC and the Sonoma County Spinal Cord Injury Support Group will host a traveling exhibit entitled “Patient No More: People with Disabilities Securing Civil Rights”. The exhibit runs October 14-21, 2016 in the Lawrence A. Bertolini Student Center.
October 7, 2016 – SRJC invites the community to celebrate Pre-Hispanic Heritage Month at the College. Throughout the campus, during the months of September and October, there will be a series of cultural discussions and events including the second annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day on October 12.
October 5, 2016 - The United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of the North Bay will recognize SRJC along with other program supporters and donors during their upcoming "Grapes and Gratitude" reception at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma on Thursday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m. They will honor SRJC’s Career and Technical Education Department’s Instructional Partnership Program for its years of supporting UCP of the North Bay’s mission to educate, advocate and provide support services to ensure a “Life without Limits” for people with disabilities.
September 19, 2016— Leaving Home is SRJC Theatre Arts' first theatrical work created by the ensemble of performers. The project started in January 2016 as a response to a report on the number of SRJC students who are homeless. The play, recommended for ages 14 and above, will take place in Newman Auditorium this October.
September 12, 2016 — SRJC's Shone Farm invites the public to its Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly event complete with children’s games and activities.This year’s celebration recognizes 44 years of the Farm’s history.
