October 31, 2016 — SRJC Theatre Arts presents The Music Man from November 25 through December 11 in SRJC’s Burbank Auditorium, under the direction of John Shillington. The Music Man won the 1957 Tony Award for Best Musical and was awarded the first ever Grammy Award for Best Musical Album.
October 31, 2016— SRJC Petaluma welcomes award-winning filmmaker Byron Hurt to Carole L. Ellis Auditorium where a free film screening will be held for his documentary, Hip-Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes, aired on PBS stations across the nation in 2007.

October 7, 2016 - SRJC and the Sonoma County Spinal Cord Injury Support Group will host a traveling exhibit entitled “Patient No More: People with Disabilities Securing Civil Rights”. The exhibit runs October 14-21, 2016 in the Lawrence A. Bertolini Student Center.
October 7, 2016 – SRJC invites the community to celebrate Pre-Hispanic Heritage Month at the College. Throughout the campus, during the months of September and October, there will be a series of cultural discussions and events including the second annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day on October 12.
